Biodegradable Graffiti Remover

Product Name: BIODEGRADABLE GRAFFITI REMOVER

Description:

Tech-Dry® Biodegradable Graffiti Remover (BGR) is a gel designed to remove graffiti from a wide range of surfaces. Formulated with biodegradable, low-odour, low-toxicity, and water-soluble materials BGR safely dissolves spray enamels and felt-tip marker stains. Its long-acting gel consistency clings to vertical and porous surfaces, ensuring deep penetration and effective removal without harsh solvents or environmental impact.

Recommended Uses:

Tech-Dry® BGR is a biodegradable, low-odour gel designed to remove graffiti from a wide range of building materials. It also functions as an effective paint stripper for oil-based coatings. BGR offers a safe, solvent-free alternative for graffiti removal and surface restoration.

Key Features

  • Highly effective: Dissolves graffiti for easy wipe-off without damaging the substrate.
  • Eco-friendly: Biodegradable formula free from methylene chloride
  • Long-acting gel: Can be left on stubborn graffiti for extended periods.
  • Water-soluble: Allows for easy clean-up.
  • Low-odour: User-friendly formulation.

Due to the variability of masonry surfaces and graffiti materials, a small-scale test is essential before full application to confirm product suitability.

Use Instructions:

Before use, read all product information and safety guidelines to ensure correct handling and application:

  • Apply BGR using a brush, roller, or airless sprayer to form a film over the graffiti-affected area.
  • Allow dwell time for the gel to penetrate and dissolve the graffiti—typically a few minutes, depending on surface and paint type.
  • Remove dissolved graffiti by wiping with a slightly damp cloth, followed by rinsing with clean water or a wet cloth.
  • Repeat as needed on stubborn areas until all graffiti is fully removed.
  • Avoid unintended areas—do not apply BGR to surfaces not intended for treatment. If accidental contact occurs, rinse immediately with water.
  • Test before use on painted or plastic surfaces, as BGR may affect these materials. Always trial on a small, inconspicuous area to confirm compatibility.
  • Clean equipment with water after use.

Important Note:

To ensure safe handling of Tech-Dry® BGR avoid inhaling vapours or allowing skin and eye contact. Always wear chemically resistant gloves and safety goggles. If spraying, use an air-purifying respirator in areas with poor ventilation or where mist exposure is likely. Maintain adequate airflow during use and wash hands thoroughly after handling.
If skin contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. In case of accidental ingestion or eye exposure, seek medical attention promptly and refer to the product’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed guidance.

Handling & Storage:

BGR is classified as a hazardous and combustible material. Always refer to the product’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed handling instructions. Follow standard industrial hygiene practices, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure safe ventilation during use.

Store BGR in tightly sealed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area—away from heat, flames, or ignition sources. Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures above 25°C. Under recommended conditions, BGR has a shelf life of 12 months in its original sealed packaging.

Use with sufficient ventilation away from any fire or ignition sources

Keep out of reach of children
