Description

Emulsion PCW30 is a water‑based oil and water repellent concentrate. When diluted with water, it penetrates porous masonry substrates and seals them against moisture. The product repels water effectively and resists stains from oil, juice, coffee, food, and wine. It preserves both the appearance and vapour permeability of the substrate surface. However, some substrates may show a slight change in appearance after treatment.

Key Features

  • Penetrates into masonry substrate.
  • Hard wearing and durable formulation.
  • Good oil/water-repellent and stain resistant properties.
  • Water-based technology containing no solvent.

Recommended Uses

Once diluted, Emulsion PCW30 produces stain‑resistant sealers for porous masonry substrates. It works effectively on natural stone, concrete blocks and pavers, cementitious render, clay bricks, terracotta tiles, and grouts. For dense materials, we recommend using equivalent solvent-based sealer.

Dilute with deionised water before application. The recommended ratio is 1:5 with water. However, always test to determine the best dilution for your substrate. Mix thoroughly before use.

Typical Data

  • Appearance: white emulsion with alcoholic odour
  • Density: approx. 0.98 g/ml at 20 oC
  • Solubility in water: miscible in water

Important Note

Emulsion PCW30 is a raw material for producing oil/water repellent or stain-resistant sealers for masonry materials. As the storage, handling, dilution (or re-formulation) and final application of this material is beyond manufacturer’s control, it is the end user’s sole responsibility to conduct proper tests prior to application to determine the suitability of this product for the purpose.

Handling & Storage
