PROTECTASILANE
100 is a pure octyl triethoxy silane used for concrete protection.
Unlike isobutyl triethoxy silane, octyl triethoxy silane is
a less volatile silane which imparts less impact on the environment.
In addition, octyl triethoxy silane offers better coverage
and its wet film tends to stay on the treated surface longer
to ensure deep penetration and achive better quality water
repellency to the reinforced concrete.
- Excellent
penetration resulting in good protection for concrete
- The
product is non film-forming therefore there is nothing to
peel or blister and is UV stable
- Does
not change surface appearance
- Reacts
chemically with the substrate resulting in permanent protective
zone within the concrete surface
- Significantly
reduces water and chloride uptake
- Non
corrosive and less volatile chemicals resulting in less
environmental pollution
