Due to their permeable surfaces, masonry building materials can be easily marked by graffiti, timber, oil, grease, foods and dirt resulting in permanent staining. Timber stains on decorative masonry substrates such as sandstone, coloured concrete block or other coloured masonry can be hard to remove.
